President & CEO
As CEO/President of HPM Insurance, Lyle is responsible for setting the tone and strategic vision for the agency. Lyle works with agency personnel to identify risks and exposures for both new and existing clients. He also works closely with the companies represented by the agency to understand their latest products and services that could benefit clients. Importantly, he leads acquisition efforts, so far, having acquired seven insurance agencies throughout the state.
He is chairman of the Professional Insurance Agents of New Hampshire (PIA) and a national director of the PIA. He serves on the advisory boards of Plymouth Rock Assurance, Acadia Insurance, and Merchants Insurance Group, as well as serving as chairman of Main Street America's advisory board. Previously, he was the Northeast representative for independent insurance agents on the SAFECO Insurance National Advisory Council.
Additionally, he was a director of the Milford Economic Development Advisory Council (EDAC) and is a director of the Squam Lakes Association. Previously, his philanthropic work included serving on the board of trustees of the Greater New England Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and chairman of the MS Bike Committee as well as a director for the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce (SVCC).
Lyle, along with his wife Sarah, two daughters, Greta and Audrey, enjoy the great outdoors. He is also an avid skier and cyclist.
CIC: Executive Vice President
Lisa began her journey in the insurance industry at The Holt Agency, while still in high school. With more than 25 years of experience in the business, she has worked her way through each aspect of the agency and now heads the commercial lines department and is part of the senior leadership team. As Lisa enjoys working with systems, she sits on the New England User Group for Vertafore on the Education committee.
Lisa resides in Wilton with her husband Greg and Addie, her spunky and fun-loving pup. She enjoys spending time in her yard gardening, cycling, swimming and pretty much anything outside when it’s warm. She also enjoys the tranquility of her farmer's porch and her travel trailer where she ventures along the East Coast with family and friends. She is also very active in her local church music ministries.
CPCU: Executive Vice President
April handles the marketing and communications for HPM Insurance and is part of the senior leadership team. Though she holds a journalism degree she realized insurance was her calling given her late-father, Jack McBriarty, owned an agency throughout her childhood. April tested the waters of insurance by first working on the company side, followed by running an office for a large agency in Massachusetts. She joined the family business, McBriarty Insurance of Milford, in 2000 where she ran it with Jack for 10 years before selling to HPM Insurance. April earned her CPCU designation in 2012, was a board member of the NH Association of Insurance Agents for six years and was the chairperson for NHAIA for the 2018-19 term. April lives in Southern New Hampshire with her husband, Ted, two boys and dogs, Hilton and Chloe. She enjoys traveling, music, yoga, and cooking.
Account Executive
Drew joined HPM Insurance in 2024 after relocating to the NH Lakes Region from New Jersey. He began his insurance career in 2019 and enjoys helping clients find solutions for coverage issues. Before entering the insurance profession, Drew was a former Class A PGA professional. Though he is no longer a golf pro, he continues to play the game for fun and to teach others. He also enjoys exploring the NH Lakes Region with his wife, Billie, and young daughter, Indigo.
Commercial Risk Control Specialist
Randy has some thirty years of experience in commercial insurance for businesses, both large and small. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business management, he uses this understanding of professional operations to help business owners navigate the various risks they face.
When not helping clients, Randy can be found in the great outdoors, snowmobiling, skiing, or riding his ATV.
Personal Risk Control Specialist
Natalie joined the HPM team in 2023 to further her insurance career, which she began in early 2022. Though relatively new to insurance, she has a passion for problem-solving and helping people. "I love helping people from all walks of life and developing insurance plans to meet their lifestyle while providing peace of mind," stated Carbonaro. "I find that very rewarding."
Natalie resides in Southern Vermont with her husband, Kyle, their three cats, Alana, Spencer, and Sasha, and their dog, Saydii-Linda.
When not at work, you can find her outside exploring hiking trails, spending time at the lake, or gardening. Natalie enjoys traveling the world with her husband and has visited Mexico more than ten times (and counting!) She has also explored the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and Canada and hopes to continue to add more countries to the list.
CPCU: Account Executive
Doug has been in commercial insurance for over 30-years as both a company underwriter and insurance sales/account executive. He has worked for several local insurance agencies and enjoys maintaining local friendships and business relationships. In his spare time, Doug can be found walking or biking on the W.O.W. rail trail or hitting tennis balls at local outdoor or indoor facilities. Born and raised in New Hampshire, he and his wife, Sue, are 30-year residents of Laconia, where they raised their daughter and son. In earlier years, Doug spent countless hours helping coach and cheer on his two favorite young athletes (along with scores of other aspiring youth athletes) on the soccer, baseball, and softball fields. He most enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, as well as traveling.
Personal Risk Control Specialist
Julie joined the HPM team in the spring of 2023 following her move from Massachusetts to New Hampshire. She comes to HPM with more than 25 years of insurance agency experience, as she has dedicated her career to helping clients with everything insurance-related.
When not working, she continues her passion for helping others, as you may find her volunteering her time working a food truck to serve homeless people or others in need. If the weather is nice, you can also find her at the ocean or enjoying a picnic with her family. She is also a known animal lover through and through and especially loves doting on her cat, Patti.
CIC: Financial Analyst
Barbara has been in the insurance industry since 2000. She managed the personal lines department for many years before fulfilling her dream of living down South on the coast where she now resides with her husband and beloved dog, Murphy. Barbara has always had a passion for numbers which makes her a great asset to the agency as a financial analyst. When Barbara is not working or enjoying the surf, you may find her curled up with a good book. Among her favorite authors are John Irving, Tom
ACSR: Commercial Risk Control Specialist
Kim joined HPM Insurance Bedford in 2015 with nearly 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. In addition to a property and casualty license, Kim has earned her ASCR designation for personal and commercial lines. When Kim is not in the office, you can find her curled under a blanket with a good book or out and about with her daughter, family, and friends.
AAI, Personal Risk Control Specialist
Laura joined HPM Insurance in 2022 after working for more than five years for a large regional agency. After completing her bachelor’s degree in business, she decided to pursue insurance as she was looking for a fast-paced industry. Insurance was an excellent fit for her as she loves connecting with clients and keeping up with ever-changing coverage issues and solutions. When not on the job, you can find Laura with her two German Short-Haired Pointers, Lace & Lenny, or snuggling her young daughters, Darcey and Demi, and her husband in Northern Maine.
Insurance Advisor
Gary opened Insurance Savers in 1998 in Campton and later expanded into Littleton in 2021. He sold Insurance Savers in 2024 to HPM but remains a reliable resource to both clients and coworkers. He has been in the insurance business since 1994 and specializes in personal lines products.
Personal Risk Control Specialist
Kayla started her career in insurance in 2022 at a State Farm agency before joining the HPM Personal Lines team in 2024 to expand her knowledge of the insurance industry. She has experience in both personal and commercial lines and life and health insurance. Kayla is very passionate about customer service and helping her customers find coverage right for them. You can find Kayla cooking, gardening, or kayaking in her spare time. She loves spending time at her home in Merrimack with her two cats and boyfriend, Turner.
Quality Assurance Specialist
Suzanne enjoys helping people understand insurance, which is why she has been in the industry for more than two decades. She loves people and does her best to connect with clients and explain the complexity of their coverage.
Suzanne joined the HPM Laconia team in early 2020. When not in the office, you may find Suzanne with any of her five grandkids or perhaps driving down the streets of Laconia with her black lab, Dyson, riding shotgun with his head out the window.
Vice President of Personal Lines
Karen joined the HPM team in 2016 with more than 20 years of insurance experience and eight years of supervisory experience from the largest insurance agency in the state. She understands the personal insurance marketplace in-depth to match an individual or family with the best program to fit their needs and budget. Karen also has years of managing high net-worth clients and understands the complexities and demands of such accounts. When Karen is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, or on the back of a motorcycle.
Health Benefits Consultant
Tom has been in the health insurance and benefits industry for over a decade. He specializes in the health insurance needs of businesses by providing group benefits and coverage for individuals. He can help answer the complex issues involving the AFA and Medicare. Tom and his family moved to New Hampshire from New York in mid-2015 and took roots in the seacoast, where they enjoy the outdoors with activities such as hiking and camping. When not at work or with his family, you may catch Tom court-side as he loves to play tennis as much as possible. You may also catch him watching a baseball game, but don't hold it against him - he is an avid Yankees fan.
Agency Support
Taylor joined the HPM Insurance team in 2024 and is very excited about the opportunity to begin her career in the insurance industry. She grew up in New Hampshire and received her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Business from Southern New Hampshire University. She always seeks ways to help others and use her creative talents in her daily tasks.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with her close friends and family. She loves traveling and visiting new destinations, especially by cruise ship. At home, she likes to spend time outdoors with her two dogs, Lily and Peyton.
Risk Control Specialist
Colleen began her insurance career several years ago in personal lines for Amica. Though she enjoyed insurance, she wanted something a little different and decided to go to the agency side and work in commercial lines. Colleen joined the HPM team in early 2024.
Accounting Support
Giselle is our ray of sunshine who always has an infectious smile. This is Giselle's second time with HPM, as she left the agency some 20 years ago to raise a family. Now that her children are grown she wanted to return where she left off and was welcomed back with open arms. While not in the office, Giselle can be found spending time with her husband, Steve, and son and daughter. She also loves traveling, especially on cruise ships heading to the Caribbean. Giselle also enjoys quilting and crafting to make anything pretty. She also has a special place in her heart for volunteering at her church in Amherst.
CL Marketing Coordinator
Stacie joined HPM in Insurance in 2024 as a commercial marketing coordinator specializing in finding an appropriate insurance market for mid-to-large businesses. With more than twenty years of experience handling larger commercial accounts, she has a solid knowledge of underwriting expectations to assist clients in avoiding the unexpected. Stacie was a Milford resident for some 25 years, where she raised her two sons, Mitchell and Colby. When not at work, you will likely find her cooking, canning, doing calligraphy, camping, or enjoying a non-fiction movie, book, or documentary.
Agency Support
As Heidi is part of the support team and answers most phone calls coming into the agency, she is the director of first impressions and is very good at it. She keeps tabs on everyone at the agency to direct callers efficiently and accurately. Heidi also works behind the scenes to streamline communications and keeps the gears rolling.
You will likely find Heidi with her husband and best friend, Dave, when not in the office. After raising two children, they are empty-nesters who enjoy spending time on the motorcycle or at the gym, which is considered her "happy place." Heidi is an IFPA pro Figure athlete and competitor and a Certified Holistic Nutritionist.
Risk Control Specialist
Angela joined the HPM team in 2024 with over 20 years of insurance experience. She works with multiple carriers to find clients' multiple coverage and rating options. She is familiar with many insurance companies and their guidelines, so she is a great resource when shopping for insurance in today's market.
Angela grew up in southern New Hampshire and moved to the Lakes Region with her husband in 2014. When she is not at work, she may be in the kitchen cooking a delicious meal for friends or family or down by the pond in her backyard, watching the wildlife that calls her home.
Personal Risk Control Specialist
Meagan joined HPM Insurance Laconia in 2019. She has a degree in business management and started her career in banking, where she worked for four years. Meagan moved over to the insurance industry in 2012, enjoying the fast pace and building relationships with clients.
She spent the last seven years as a personal lines account manager at a local insurance agency before moving to HPM Insurance. Meagan enjoys insurance because it is constantly changing and is never dull. When not helping clients with insurance, you may find her on the sidelines cheering on any of her three young children. She may also be found enjoying some quiet time with her husband and beloved dog, Ellie Mae.
Amy is thrilled to be a part of the HPM team, which she joined in 2023. She started her career more than twenty years ago in California as an assistant in commercial insurance but was quickly promoted to commercial sales executive. Her specialty is small business and contractors’ insurance.
Having been born and raised in Texas and living in California for most of her life, she feels truly at home in New Hampshire.
While not on the job, Amy entertains others as a singer, actor, and entertainer. She enjoys the outdoors with her family and dogs and the many trails NH offers. She enjoys reading and researching intriguing topics such as neurobiology, psychology, and literature.
Accounting
Sharon joined HPM Insurance in 2017 to head up the accounting department. She had worked many years in the accounting department at Stonyfield Farm. Sharon also holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and computer programming from Rivier University.
Sharon is energetic and enjoys hiking, biking, camping, and motorcycle rides through the mountains. She is also particularly fond of running as she runs regularly and has completed the Boston Marathon seven times in addition to several other local marathons.
AAI: Risk Control Specialist
Lorraine began her insurance career more than 30 years ago at the NH Insurance Company, now a part of AIG. Two years later, she moved to Massachusetts and began working on the agency side. After getting married, she returned to the Lakes region and worked for Noyes Insurance for over two decades and then Melcher & Prescott for several years. Lorraine joined HPM Insurance in 2018 and is in the Bristol office. Lorraine loves her job because she loves customer service. She is a people person and likes the challenge of finding her clients the best coverage at a fair price.
Agency Support
Rosemary, aka Rose, has been with Byse Insurance in Laconia since 2001, where she is part of the support team. She has an eye for detail and is an excellent asset for the many insurance aspects requiring close attention. She also has a sweet spot for Jelly Belly jelly beans, which regularly lure many to her desk. While not helping the office run smoothly, you may find her whipping up a delicious cake, pie or batch of cookies or muffins in her kitchen. She is also the proud mother of two children, Sabrina and Jesse, and granddaughter, Lily Rose.
Commercial Risk Control Specialist
Debbie began her insurance career more than twenty years ago at Elliot Insurance, where she helped run the agency along with her husband, Peter. In the summer of 2021, Debbie decided to focus on what she likes most about insurance, helping clients, so she and Peter decided to sell Elliot Insurance to HPM.
Debbie enjoys being outside and hiking, biking, or relaxing by the pool with a good book. She also loves spending time with Peter, their four children, two grandsons, and Max and Bella, their beloved dogs.
Agency Support
Heather works with both personal and commercial insurance clients in the Littleton office. Her commitment to clients is unwavering, and she excels at building relationships while helping them with their insurance.
Outside of her professional realm, Heather is a proud mom of three beautiful children. She is also an avid flower gardener and bird enthusiast. Besides her children, the apple of her eye is her Sparrow—Georgie, which she hand-raised from a hatchling.
Commercial Risk Control Specialist
Michelle joined the HPM team in February of 2020 after being in travel insurance for five years. She made a move to HPM as she wanted to expand her insurance knowledge in a different area of the insurance industry as she has an eagerness to learn. She currently works out of the Bedford office with the commercial department while learning the many aspects of coverage unique to business insurance.
While not in the office, she may be found paddling around in her kayak with her husband, whipping up a tasty treat in the kitchen, or sitting comfortably with her dog, Katey, cat, Princess, or rabbit, Pino.
Account Executive
After dedicating 23 years to the jewelry industry, Kara decided to take her expertise and move in a new direction as an account executive for commercial insurance.
Starting in gemology in New York in 1997 with jewelry design and studying and receiving her Graduate Gemologist certificate and designation (G.G.), she helps those within the jewelry industry and beyond navigate a critical part of their business- the insurance.
When not networking and building business relationships, you may find Kara active with kickboxing, yoga, or tennis. She may also be hiking or snowboarding with her husband and young daughter or relaxing with her miniature schnauzer, Snickers, or rescue cat, Misty.

Jeffrey helped run the Byse agencies, along with his late-father Donald Flanders, since 1986. Upon the sale of Byse Insurance to HPM, Jeffrey took on the role of general manager for the Laconia and Bristol offices. He has a well-developed resume as he holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation. He also served on the board of directors for the NH Association of Insurance Agents and was also chairman of the board for the 2002-2003 term. Eric started his career with HPM Insurance in the fall of 2019 as an account executive. While new to insurance, Eric has many years of business to business sales experience, including seven years in telecommunications, and six years in wireless communications. Eric truly enjoys putting together the perfect solution for his clients, which sets him up for success in this industry.
When Eric isn't working, you will find him at home with his wife and baby girl, who was born in early 2020. He is also an animal lover, having rescued two beautiful dogs named Delphia and Tiger Lily.
Eric also enjoys golf, rare cars, and traveling with his wife and daughter all around New England.
Commercial Risk Control Specialist
Jen joined HPM in 2022 after working in the insurance industry for over a decade. She began her insurance career at a personal lines insurance agency and expanded her knowledge by obtaining her AINS designation and working in commercial underwriting for an insurance company. Jen enjoys insurance because she loves the satisfaction of helping business owners understand their coverage.
When not working, Jen enjoys spending her free time traveling with her husband, camping, and hiking, as they are empty-nesters with two grown sons. You may also find her behind a camera or reading.
Personal Risk Control Specialist
Samantha, aka Sam, works out of the Laconia office helping clients with their personal insurance needs. She has held an insurance license since 2015 and has a passion for problem-solving. Her passion for helping and problem-solving runs deep because when not in the office, she may be found battling a blaze given she is a volunteer firefighter for the town of Ashland. She is also the proud mother to her son, Jeremiah, and enjoys spending time with him on the sidelines of a hockey game. Though she has little time to spare, a perfect day for Sam would be spent at the lake.
Commercial Risk Control Specialist
Lynn joined the HPM team in 2022 with nearly a decade of commercial insurance experience. She comes from a family of entrepreneurs and is passionate about protecting what her clients have built professionally.
Lynn has three adult children, several grandchildren, and Ruger; her golden retriever. She lives on Lake Sunapee with her fiancé, is an artist in her free time, and enjoys time with family and outdoor adventures.
Agency Support
Cathy has been part of the HPM family for approximately four decades and is a wealth of knowledge. Cathy is a life-long resident of Wilton which has allowed her to establish long and trusted relationships with area clients. Cathy enjoys spending time with her husband as well as traveling to new places, sharing with friends and enjoying the great outdoors.
ACSR: Personal Risk Control Specialist
Donna has a wealth of knowledge in personal insurance, given that she began her insurance career in the 1980s and earned her Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) soon after that. As a personal lines Producer for HPM Insurance, she specializes in providing insurance options for homes, cars, and personal toys so that clients can make an educated decision about what coverages are best to have the peace of mind knowing their valuable assets are protected.
When not working, you may find Donna reading, gardening, doing taekwondo (as she works toward her black belt), socializing with area Parrotheads, or hanging at home with her pretty kitty, Hazy, and her one-eyed fan-tail goldfish.
Personal Risk Control Specialist
Caitlyn, who goes by Caity, began her insurance career in 2021 and loves it. She enjoys helping people in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. It's a good thing she likes things moving fast because she has a very young daughter, Isabella, and two crazy pets, including a dog, Maci, and a cat, Moose. When not helping clients with their insurance or running after her daughter, you can find Caity in the garden tending to her plants, vegetables, and flowers.
CISR: Commercial Marketing Coordinator
Tami began her insurance career some 30 years ago, working on both the insurance company and agency sides. She has worked with clients across the county and is well versed in handling more complex commercial accounts. Her role at HPM is to build on this experience and assist clients in navigating numerous coverage and pricing options to successfully run their business.
Tami resides in Loudon with her husband, Jim, son, Logan, and Sydney, their beloved dog. While not at work, you may find Tami scrapbooking with friends, visiting with her sisters on Lower Suncook Lake, or spending time with family and friends.
Account Executive
Heather joined the HPM team in early 2021 after relocating back from Texas. She has worked in insurance since 2016, specializing in Medical Professional Liability coverage for physicians and medical providers across all specialties. She brings this expertise to HPM to build out the medical professional insurance program while also being a resource for all commercial insurance lines.
Heather lives in Methuen, MA, with her husband Jason, 5 children, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a bunny...it’s never boring at the Plunkett house! She loves antiquing, being outdoors, and exploring the beauty and history of New England.
Commercial Risk Control Specialist
Loretta joined HPM Insurance in 2019 as a commercial risk control specialist. She began her insurance career at a large, global insurance agency where she helped clients protect their businesses. At HPM Insurance, she is happy to bring this experience with her to a more local level by having the opportunity to meet her clients and speak with them regularly as needed.
When not on the job, you can find Loretta at a concert, at the beach, or in the stands watching her daughter play softball.
CIC, Marketing Coordinator
Claudia joined the HPM team in the summer of 2017 as the agency’s Marketing Coordinator. With more than thirty years’ experience, she can navigate the ever-changing insurance market place to find the right coverage options for our clients. She has the ability to write accounts of all sizes, but prefers the challenge and excitement that goes along with writing larger risks. Claudia began her career on the insurance company side with Andover Companies, but soon moved over to the agency side and worked for several large agencies in Massachusetts including Appleby & Wyman and Fred C. Church. Family brought her over the border into New Hampshire where she has worked ever since at both Brown & Brown of NH and Eaton & Berube before coming to HPM Insurance.
While not at work, Claudia enjoys spending time with her teenaged daughter, friends and family. Claudia also loves to golf, bike, cook and travel, with her favorite place being Italy.
Agency Support
Caitlin joined HPM Insurance in 2019 with more than ten years of client service under her belt. She is happy to learn more about the industry while providing support to the agency’s risk control specialists. When not in the Laconia office, you may find Caitlin chasing her adventurous young son, looking after her newborn daughter or throwing the ball for her two rescue dogs, Odie and Loki. Caitlin also enjoys the great out doors with her husband.
Account Executive
Nick began his career with HPM Insurance in 2021 as an account executive. Before entering the world of insurance, Nick spent the past nine years of his professional career in telecommunications, with seven years of those years in the wireless industry in sales, sales management, and account management roles.
Nick enjoys sales as he likes being on the road, meeting new people, and helping clients protect the businesses they worked hard to build.
When Nick isn't working, you may find him outdoors, particularly on the water fishing or participating in a fishing tournament. You may also find him relaxing at home with his fiancé, three kids, four dogs Zeus, Nola, Everest, and Sven.
Personal Risk Control Specialist
Jen has worked in the insurance industry for roughly eight years, three of which as a licensed claims adjuster at two major insurance companies. Jen sought out a change-of-pace and decided to work at an agency after moving to Milford in 2019. She enjoys insurance, so wants to expand on this knowledge and work directly with clients to help protect their property before a claim occurs. In her spare time, Jen loves exploring the Milford area with her daughter, as well cuddling on the couch with her dog, Peanut, while watching Netflix.
